12V electric door strike for access control. Durable for Commercial or Residential Applications.

Our 12V DC electric door strike is engineered for installers who want reliability & performance. With 2,200 lb jaw strength, field-selectable fail-secure or fail-safe modes, and compatibility with standard cylindrical locksets, this strike delivers security for both commercial and residential doors.

2,200 lb Jaw strength and Cycle Tested up to 500,000 times for security and reliability

Utilizing two non-polarized wires, it's designed to function with either lead wired as positive or negative - speeding up installation and reducing mistakes to integrate with card readers, keypads and intercom systems. Constructed from all-metal components and tested to operate for 500,000 cycles.

Method 1: Upgrade an Existing Strike Plate

Easily upgrade from existing ANSI standard door frames. Simply remove the old strike plate, cut the door frame according to the installation instructions, and secure the strike using the included screws.

Method 2: Install into a New Frame or Post

Door frames without existing tabs or for new construction, cut the required opening following the installation guide. Install the included mounting tabs, then install the electric strike for a professional fit.

    In a wet configuration, the strike power comes directly from the access control panel. The default method is Fail Secure, meaning the strike only unlocks when power is applied.

    Alternatively, the strike can be adjusted using the screws on the back to be fail safe, so it unlocks when power is lost.

    In a dry configuration, the power comes from an external power supply with your access control panel controlling when the power is sent to the strike using a relay.

    This is done by adding a jumper wire from the power supply's Positive (+12v) terminal, to the panel's Common (COM) terminal connection.
